TS RemoteApp allows you to access programs on a remote computer through Terminal Services. Although the programs are running on a terminal server, RemoteApp programs behave as if they were running on your local computer. For example, a RemoteApp program has its own entry in the taskbar, and you can resize, minimize, or maximize the program window.
To start a RemoteApp program or remote desktop session, click the program icon in TS Web Access. When you are prompted for user credentials, log on by using your network user name and password.
To access RemoteApp program through TS Web Access, your computer must be running any one of the following operating systems:

If you are prompted to run the Terminal Services ActiveX Client control when you access TS Web Access, do either of the following, depending on your operating system:
If your computer meets all of the client requirements but you do not see any programs listed, contact your systems administrator or the webmaster for the Web site.
In general, if you are the only person that uses the computer, it is considered a private computer. For example, this may be your personal work or home-office computer. If you select this option, make sure that your computer complies with your organization’s security policy.

You should select this option if you are using a public computer, or a private computer that does not comply with your organization’s security policy.
Important: If you are using a public computer, make sure that you close all windows when you have finished your session.
